Last Tuesday I found myself in the most unexpected situation. My mom had offered to go grocery shopping with me and the boys, and me wanting a stress free experience (of course) said “yes!”
Note* I have yet to make my maiden voyage to the grocery by myself with the boys, so I don’t really know if it will be stressful or not ;)
I picked up my mom and one fifteen minute car ride later, both boys were fast asleep…
“I can just sit in the car with the boys and let you go in by yourself if you want. Hate to wake them up…”
Um, mini vacation much? Haha. But no, seriously though, I was all whipping through that store faster that Wyatt can spot a tractor. Especially after I heard a thunderstorm start to rage outside… I was sure they’d wake up!
And with no mouths to keep full of blueberries and cheddar bunnies? Right on budget ;)
Best. Grocery trip. Ever.

P.S. Apparently AE high rise jean leggings make for killer postpartum jeans — who knew?! I’m 3 weeks postpartum in this picture and have been wearing them since week two. They are still a little too tight in the midsection for my liking but I love them anyway ;)
