Saturday night was our first Christmas celebration with family, so naturally we all played with our new toys Sunday morning before church. Nick with his ham radio, Wyatt with his blocks and kitchen and I with my new f2 camera lens.
I’ve decided to start a series called “moments of pause” — in part, an extension of a few unexpected joys in our own backyard posts — but also because I’m really trying hard to focus on all the good that sits around me, instead of all the mess, unfinished and failed attempts. It’s all about attitude anyway, right? I mean, how on Earth can you make a block covered family room floor look beautiful? Well, apparently you can with the right framing, focus and breathing techniques. All wonderful photography techniques — but perhaps even more wonderful life techniques. ;)
