When packing up your diaper bag for travel on an airplane your mind starts to plan for all the “what ifs”. It’s good to plan for those “what ifs” but really our air travel diaper bag didn’t look much different then our regular diaper bag.
Keep in mind the time of day you are planning for — that will make the decision making process simpler when deciding what to pack and what not to pack.
What was in our bag at take off:
- diapers
- wipes
- lightweight blanket
- change of clothes (in this case his day clothes, we changed him into his jammies before we boarded)
- two books
- one soft toy
- camera
- teethers
- pacifier clips (we use these for his teethers)
- straw sippy cup
- bottle
- bib
- burp cloth
- hat
- sunglasses
- coconut oil (transferred into a small container)
- sunscreen
- other personal items
Any suggestions for what else to put in your diaper bag for a flight?
