I’m always so last minute. With everything. I would say that someday I’ll eventually get on top of my game… but let’s face it. I’ll probably procrastinate on that too.
That being said, Wyatt and I did take some time to pull together these two Father’s Day presents. I found the original idea for the card, here and for the poem and foot print keepsake, here.
I am very pleased with the final product, so I decided to share them with you in printable format! That way you can throw in a handmade card with the gift you’ve already created or bought — or if you’re last minute like me, create a keepsake and card yourself!
I used some acrylic paint that I had on hand to paint the bottoms of Wyatt’s feet and then press them on to the blank side of the paper. And I just dipped his finger in a little paint to create the poofs on the dandelion card. Word to the wise — have LOTS of baby wipes ready. He laughed at the feet painting, tolerated the feet pressing and I think genuinely liked the finger dipping.
The frame and mat I used are from Hobby Lobby. If you don’t have any of the other supplies you’ll be able to find them there as well!
