Awhile back I posted on Instagram confessing just how ridiculously far behind on organizing + printing our family photos I was. I desperately wanted some advice from some veterans, experts, you name it — but alas, I got crickets…
Anywho, never fear! Because while I would be the first to tell you I have very little about my life “figured out” — I believe this is one of those things.
I reference my Instgram a lot here on this blog largely because it’s my new age version of a scrap book. I like to use it to document the everyday of our lives. We rarely forget cameras for those big moments, you know like: weddings, graduations, etc. But all too often I think it’s easy enough to forget to capture the little moments of the everyday. Things I definitely never want to forget. You know, like finding 22 ammo and ketchup packets in the washing machine or listening to ham radio on a Sunday morning with my boys over breakfast. ;)
That’s why when I learned about Chatbooks, I sort of kind of freaked. Like in a good way kind of freaked. Like stand up and do a happy dance right away [maybe even at work] kind of freaked.
So the way Chatbooks works is that you can sync your Instagram account to their app and create 60 page photo books for $6. Yes, you read that right. Six freaking dollars!
The even more awesome part is that you can set up an on going series [I’ve titled ours: Our Life in Squares] and it will automatically add your new Instagram posts to a book in the series. Then when that book reaches its fill [60 photos on 60 pages] it will automatically print and ship to your house… for six dollars.
I feel like this is unheard of! And while I’m still working on getting full size prints for all our family photos printed and stored for safe keeping + viewing for the long run… this gives me exactly what we need right now: Peace of mind that I’m getting some really good photos printed and displayed in an awesome way… automatically… for six dollars.
Are you as obsessed as I am now? You’re welcome. :)
This is not a sponsored post. Chatbooks has not prompted me to write this blog post nor am I being compensated in anyway. I just really, really like their product and want to share the awesomeness. Cool beans?
