This past Monday Lee the Bee extended her 10 x 10 Spring Challenge and a small, yet distinctly impulsive voice inside me screamed out, “me too!”
Today I’m officially throwing my hat into the ring — because a competitive natured metaphor is totally appropriate here (?) — and sharing with you 10 pieces I will be using to curate 10 unique looks. I’ll be joining not only Lee in this challenge, but with her, two of my favorite style bloggers: Andrea + Paige. Mad props to you bossbabes!
HOW IT WORKS
Since I’m a little late to the party (ahem, always late Laura…always.) I will be sporting these pieces over the course of the next two “work weeks”(starting this Monday) and sharing with you ALL of the looks I’ve put together late next week — mid way through the challenge.
Tops, jackets, bottoms and shoes all count toward the 10 piece total. Accessories like: bags, hats, scarves and jewelry are fair game. ;)
GOALS FOR THIS CHALLENGE
I really just want to test my creativity + refocus my thoughts and energies on creative efforts. Moreover, I decided on two “work weeks” not because I was trying to give myself a two day hiatus (hello weekend!), but to really challenge myself by having to create FOUR different work looks since I still work in an office setting two days a week. Other implementations could have alleviated me from having to combine work pieces with my momiform so many times… Here’s hoping I’ll come away with a couple of bonus outfits and am able to squeeze out two more looks during that ‘hiatus’ weekend. ;)
1 | Striped short sleeve tee | H&M
2 | Chambray (old + thrifted) | J Crew, similar
3 | Cream blouse (old + thrifted) | AB Studio, similar

I’ll be back next week to share with you the 10 styled looks I have in mind for this challenge! :)
